Can you imagine the paper work and man power involved in complying with these UAW rules & regulations? You can see how the auto makers got in trouble, no one wanted to read all this crap!

I’ll tell you this much, those 2,215 pages don’t include much regarding efficiency and competitiveness. What you’ll find are hundreds of rules, regulations, and letters of understanding that have hamstrung the auto companies for years.

Reminds me of some of Brian's fun this past fall. The Dept. of Transportation had 150+ pages of instructions/requirements for a submittal that could be no more than 100 pages.
